Why
The privacy tool should not be the weak point
Most VPNs ask you to trade one observer for another: your provider stops seeing your traffic, and the VPN starts. The trade is only worth it if the new observer keeps nothing — and can prove it by not having it.
The token is part of that same idea rather than a bolt-on. Paying in VVPN removes the payment record that would otherwise tie a person to a subscription, and paying operators in it lets capacity appear where users are, without a procurement cycle.
How we write
Three rules for this site
Say what is true today
This site is written before launch, and it says so on every page. When something ships, the wording changes from intent to fact — not the other way around.
Remove data instead of guarding it
Data that exists can be requested, leaked or sold after an acquisition. The only version that survives all three is the version that was never kept.
Publish the specifics
Retention, protocol details, token distribution: each is undecided, and if it is ever decided it gets published as concrete numbers. Until then they are open questions, and we call them that rather than dressing them as plans.
